Conectric uses a combination of patented technologies and tools, Internet of Things sensor data and business intelligence to reliably deliver reduced building energy consumption to owners. asset owners, operators, developers and energy companies.

The app solution provides the entire software ecosystem including the backend and integration of two mobile apps.

The entire system including hardware, back-end, sensors and control box is highly loaded.

Our team had to create a thoughtful system that integrates all these elements, delivering high performance and excellent levels of security.

Additionally, we were challenged to create a user-friendly user interface.

Our solution

The system includes two main parts: web app and mobile app. The web application includes the FrontEnd Web Site, Self-Service Web Application, Audit Tool, Settings Tool, Conectric Dashboard, and Client Administration Panel. In turn, the mobile app includes Test and Settings tools as well as a Thermostat Control Tool for both Android and iOS.

The application solution provides the entire software ecosystem including back-end and integration of two mobile applications. The backend collects data from sensors like weather conditions, local energy supplier rates, static analysis, etc. We have also created a highly responsive and adaptive frontend as well as two mobile app allows engineers to optimize work on site.

Use the technology stack

Testing and Settings tools built for Android using technologies like Kotlin, Android SDK, Retrofit, Realm, Picaso, Dagger2, Flow, Gson, RxJava, PHP, Laravel, Google Go, PosgreSQL, Google Big Query and Composer.

All web services are developed with the help of HTML, CSS, JS, BootStrap, Require.js, Jquery, Sass, Gulp.js, Bower, PHP, Laravel, Google Go, PosgreSQL, Google Big Query and Composer .

Additionally, it is important to mention the solution’s hardware including sensors and controllers (Embedded C, Go Lang, Texas Instruments) and infrastructure (Google Cloud Services, MQTT).

Auditing tools

This tool helps engineers conduct in-depth and thorough assessments of buildings. Using this implementation, Conectric managers initiate and control the entire process.

To make the testing process quick, we created an Android app with QUIZ. The auditor creates images and fills out forms with all the necessary data in the WEB Audit Tool right from his smartphone.

Installation tool

Engineers install living room energy management (EMS) sensors and connect them to the Conectric server. The entire range of data is collected and transmitted to the mobile app. This function links certain ports and sensors to a specific device interface on the wall.

Website

All web applications are created separately, but they will be connected as part of one system. This solution avoids duplication of functionality and provides the ability to develop and release each part of the system separately.

There is also a public website for sales and marketing needs that displays developments, products, features and media.
